Please bring the following documentary evidence with you to your initial meeting: -

Wages:
Your last 3 months wage slips


Benefits:
An up to date letter (no more than 1 month old from the Jobcentre confirming which type of benefit you receive and how much you receive each week/month
If you receive more than one type of benefit then please bring evidence


General:
Your last 3 months bank statements for each and every account you hold


Tax Credits:
Your last tax credits award notice


Child maintenance:
Evidence from the CSA as to how much you receive/pay in child maintenance


Child maintenance:
Evidence from the CSA as to how much you receive/pay in child maintenance


Any other income:
E.g. benefits in kind received from work/ student bursaries/ grants/ pensions etc.


Housing:
Evidence of how much you pay per month in rent or mortgage instalments and/ or your housing benefit notification letter


Child care costs:
Evidence of how much you have paid over the last 3 months

NI No: Please ensure that you can tell us what your National Insurance Number is.

Home Owners: If you own your own home you will also need to tell us the approximate value of your property and the outstanding mortgage balance.

Savings/Investments: If you have savings, investments, stocks & shares and/or valuable items worth over £500 you will also need to declare the same.

Partner: If you live with someone else then their financial circumstances will also need to be taken into account. If you are eligible to receive public funding then they will also need to sign the Public Funding forms.
